The book deals with the real, historical factual person of Jesus Christ. The book shows that not only was Jesus Christ a real figure in history, but that He is also the true Lord God and Almighty Creator cloaked in flesh. This book proves that the resurrection was a real event and real fact in history that can be objectively proven. This will, in turn, prove the spiritual aspects of the Bible must be true; such as the fact that He is the Lord, and that our sins are forgiven for putting trust in this real Man. Joe Cienkowski is a Christian man born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who loves to teach about and share his Christian faith. He grew up in the Roman Catholic faith, but abandoned his faith in his 20's. Joe is a passionate, fundamental Christian, who believes the Bible literally and historically and whose mission is to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. God broke down the many strongholds that were in his life, such as believing in evolution and believing in the Roman Catholic faith. After time in prison for marijuana, he came to understand that Jesus wasn't just some superhero, but a real Man who lived, performed miracles, fulfilled prophecies, and perform the greatest miracle ever: the resurrection from the dead. Although he has no diplomas from any college, he is a self-made ready student of the Bible. He has spent many years studying the Bible on his own, and has put himself under the most sound teachers in the faith, such as RC Sproul, D. James Kennedy, Ravi Zacharias, Hank Hanegraaff, David Jeremiah, Tony Evans, and Kent Hovind, to name a few. Of course he credits the greatest teacher, the Holy Spirit, for teaching him the sound fundamentals of the faith.

The problem of the historical Jesus remains one of the most important themes in New Testament scholarship. Closely related to this problem is the question, How far can the impact made by the earthly Jesus and his own self-understanding sustain the weight of the Christological construction put upon them by the early church? The thirty outstanding essays in this volume offer a fresh assessment of a wide range of New Testament data and methods pertinent to our understanding of Jesus and his significance both in his time and ours.
Through learning God's names, we can discover what He wants for us, how He provides for us, and learn new, deeper ways to approach Him in prayer. With this collection of bestselling books, Elmer Towns introduces you to the numerous names of God in the Bible. Book one of this collection, My Father's Name, shows you what the Old Testament names of God mean and how knowing these names can bring you closer to your Heavenly Father. Book two, The Names of the Holy Spirit, explores the more than 80 names of the Holy Spirit in Scripture, and shares how each name reveals an essential truth about the Third Person of the Trinity. Book three, The Names of Jesus, reveals the many names of Jesus in the Bible and how these can help you know Him more fully--as your Lord, Friend, Provider, Intercessor, coming King, and much more.
The Riches of Christ are unsearchable and beyond the understanding of man. What we have in Christ, what Jesus Christ brought to us, cannot be comprehended by the human mind. And no matter how you try to find them out, you cannot know all about them. God loves us more than we think or imagine. And He gave the world His Only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Eternal Life. God has given us many great and precious provisions in Christ Jesus. Behold, what manner of love that the Father has given to us, that we should be called the children of God! And what is more? We are heir of God and joint-heirs with Christ!
The Bible tells us that God became man. This man was Jesus Christ. This book digs deeply into the Bible to explore the nature of this transformation in great detail. It provides insight into what really happened, why it happened, and why Satan has been trying his best to keep the real truth under covers for the past 20 centuries. This book is an eye-opener, but not a light read. If you read this book, read it slowly, carefully, thoughtfully, boldly and thoroughly.
This outstanding book provides an in-depth historical study of the place of Jesus in the religious life, beliefs, and worship of Christians from the beginnings of the Christian movement down to the late second century. Lord Jesus Christ is a monumental work on earliest Christian devotion to Jesus, sure to replace Wilhelm Bousset s Kyrios Christos (1913) as the standard work on the subject. Larry Hurtado, widely respected for his previous contributions to the study of the New Testament and Christian origins, offers the best view to date of how the first Christians saw and reverenced Jesus as divine. In assembling this compelling picture, Hurtado draws on a wide body of ancient sources, from Scripture and the writings of such figures as Ignatius of Antioch and Justin to apocryphal texts such as the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Truth. Hurtado considers such themes as early beliefs about Jesus divine status and significance, but he also explores telling devotional practices of the time, including prayer and worship, the use of Jesus name in exorcism, baptism and healing, ritual invocation of Jesus as Lord, martyrdom, and lesser-known phenomena such as prayer postures and the curious scribal practice known today as the nomina sacra. The revealing portrait that emerges from Hurtado s comprehensive study yields definitive answers to questions like these: How important was this formative period to later Christian tradition? When did the divinization of Jesus first occur? Was early Christianity influenced by neighboring religions? How did the idea of Jesus divinity change old views of God? And why did the powerful dynamics of early beliefs and practices encourage people to make the costly move of becoming a Christian? Boasting an unprecedented breadth and depth of coverage — the book speaks authoritatively on everything from early Christian history to themes in biblical studies to New Testament Christology — Hurtado s Lord Jesus Christ is at once significant enough that a wide range of scholars will want to read it and accessible enough that general readers interested at all in Christian origins will also profit greatly from it.

Christians are Believers in Jesus Christ who have been born again, and received the Life and Nature of God in them. As a matter of fact, they are partakers of the Divine Nature. Christians were Born of God, and are Offsprings of the Almighty God. Christianity is the life and Kingdom that Christ Jesus brought to us. But when you are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, because you received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, having repented of your evil ways, you are suddenly made to be aware that you belong to the Family of God. The Holy Spirit gets people born again through the Word of God, which is His Sword, because Jesus Christ has shed His Blood for them. Christianity, therefore, is life in Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit, and in the Word of God. The Father, Who initiated Christianity through His Spirit, is above all.
These are days when there is the abundance of seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. The doctrines of demons are perpetrated by false prophets, teachers, and ministers. Doctrines of demons do not lead people to Heaven, but to Hell fire. The intention of the devil in bringing false doctrines is to steal, kill, and destroy. But we are to stick to the Truth of the Word of God and Sound Doctrine; for it is only by going by the Word of God that we will be saved on the Last Day.
