Don't let your past keep you from a full future. Like every girl, Sarah Jakes dreamed of a life full of love, laughter, and happy endings. But her dreams changed dramatically when she became pregnant at age thirteen, a reality only compounded by the fact that her father, Bishop T.D. Jakes, was one of the most influential megachurch pastors in the nation. As a teen mom and a high-profile preacher's kid, her road was lonely. She was shunned at school, gossiped about at church. And a few years later, when a fairy-tale marriage ended in a spiral of hurt and rejection, she could have let her pain dictate her future. Instead, she found herself surrounded by a God she'd given up on, crashing headlong with Him into a destiny she'd never dreamed of. Sarah's captivating story, unflinchingly honest and deeply vulnerable, is a vivid reminder that God can turn even the deepest pain into His perfection. More than a memoir, Lost and Found offers hope and encouragement. Perhaps you, like Sarah, find yourself wandering the detours of life. Regardless of how lost you feel, you, too, can be found.

Later, while assuming shed finally be allowed to live the happily-ever-after life shed always dreamed of, another awful trial emerged causing her to angrily walk away from the God shed loved and served since childhood. After eventually finding her way back to Him, God blessed His prodigal daughter dramatically, proving to her that she was still His girl. As Tracys brother, I have had a front row seat for most of her major life events. Now, through this memoir, she is opening her life up to the world, exposing the good, the bad and the ugly. Throughout this book, readers get an opportunity to experience her roller coaster ride and understand how it is possible to hold on through the bad and enjoy and celebrate all the good in life.

Find a fuller, richer life by letting God direct your destiny. The story of Ruth is a journey of transformation. By allowing God to transform her circumstances, Ruth went from a widow who would be excluded from society to a wife with a secure and protected future, a future that ultimately paved the way for the birth of King David! Her story is full of collision--loss, heartache, poverty, even shame--but she never let her past define her. Instead, the most painful time of her life became her most pivotal, propelling her to a destiny she never imagined. Perhaps you have a past you're struggling to overcome. If disappointments, whether a result of your own choices or the actions of others, have kept you from being your true self, this book is for you. Follow Ruth's life and discover the hope available to each of us. Your yesterday does not have to dictate your tomorrow. Despite your past pain, you, too, can find redemption and restoration.

This volume is the second in a series entitled Found in Translation. It follows the first volume, Somatic Vocabulary: Early Contributions to Organ Jargon. This book is a compilation of articles originally published in the Russian journal Психотерапия (Psychotherapy) and the Austrian Internationale Zeitschrift für Individual Psychologie (International journal of individual psychology) between November/December 1910 and the second half of 1937. The theme is crime and suicide, and the articles were authored by German, Austrian, French, and Russian psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators who were, to various degrees, influenced by Alfred Adler's Individual Psychology. The articles reflect the emerging theory of Individual Psychology, and its active view on social issues, from educational reforms to parenting and family functioning, to criminal justice system. Individual Psychological approach to human nature as essentially relational is palpable in all articles, and readers will be able to watch how this concept has become more mature and active with time, between 1910s and 1930s. Adler's concept of Social Interest and his idea of person's unique, self-consistent, creative, and purposeful strategy in dealing with life challenges are considered in many theoretical discussions and case studies included in this book. The book is illustrated with original works of art allowing its readers to attend to artistic reflections on the major theme of the book as well as on specific cases.
