Who is it that seeks to know themselves? Is it perhaps only the introspective few who are the true seekers of life’s meaning? Indeed not. It is all who seek, however, in their own measure of time. When does the need to know become critical? It is usually when one is seriously beset or hard pressed do we look to a higher power for answers and assistance. But for many in their time of seeking, there is only silence in return; or perhaps a subtle feeling or message that, despite the days challenges, all will be well, and that in the end, we shall prevail. Indeed you will prevail, for all of us are eternal beings. We are not of this world, and we are only here in transit. The clarity of this and life’s questions are progressively laid out and defined within the inner contents of The Chris Letters, unearthed from an ancient and deep source.

A few years before he died James MacGibbon confessed to his close family that he had spied for the Soviet Union during World War II. At the end of the war MI5 suspected him of espionage and interrogated him but he did not confess. Nevertheless they kept James, his wife Jean and their young family under close surveillance for a number of years, regularly intercepting their mail and recording their telephone conversations. Only after James’s death did the true significance of what he might have revealed become clear – in his wartime office role, James had access to the plans for Operation Overlord, D-Day. In this book, James’s son Hamish tells the story of his parents, their interaction with the communist party and their flirtation with wartime espionage. It is a unique portrait of two very ordinary people caught up in the extraordinary events of World War Two and the Cold War.

I saw Christ during a near death experience (NDE) in January 1969 while buried beneath a pile of biomaterial, outguessing poisonous methane gas. I had multiple compound fractures and no air. To this day, I swear it being as real as you, me or anyone else. Yes, I saw the tunnel of light with Christ at the opposite end. The Christ I saw had long brunet hair—the one I knew from Sunday school and books. Now that I have actually studied the Bible, I know He almost certainty had short hair, like his peers, the other men in his culture. Check it out. First Corinthians 11:14 says, “Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to Him?” God Himself thought long hair on a man was an abomination. It's obvious that is a disgrace for a man to have long hair! The most common word to describe long effeminate hair is the very word Paul used in First Corinthians 11:14: “degrading” (atimia), the major reason for objecting to long hair. How do we explain all the pictures of Christ depicted with long hair? Is that delusional thinking at the mass level? Again, did the Holy Word mislead us poor ignorant Christians, or did we fill in the gap for God? I’m laying my money on God – long hair was abhorrent to Him. As such, His son arrived with short hair. Now if Christ was anything like today’s youth, he would have rejected long hair – it simply wasn’t in style. Is humankind’s vision of Jesus just a delusion? Is the phenomenon of UFOs but another case of MASS delusion? It has happened before and within the past one hundred years –“Invasion of Mars”, Orison Well’s Broadcast. Could be, but humankind has been reporting them through word, paintings, or hieroglyphics since 29,000BC. If one buys into that, but not into UFO’s, then one must conclude that the entire world, since the beginning of time, has BEEN A DELUSION.

As a biblical motif, 'new creation' resonates throughout the pages of the Jewish and Christian scriptures, and occupies a central place in the apostle Paul's vision of the Christian life. Yet the biblical and extra-biblical occurrences of this theme vary widely in meaning, referring to either a new cosmos, a new community, or a new individual. Beginning with the Old Testament and working through the important texts of Second Temple Judaism, Moyer V. Hubbard focuses on how the motif functions in the argument, strategy, and literary structure of these documents, highlighting its role as the solution to the perceived plight. He then explores in detail which senses of the term Paul intends in Galatians 6.15 and 2 Corinthians 5.17, concluding that 'new creation' in Paul's letters describes the Spirit-wrought newness of the person in Christ, and is fundamentally anthropological in orientation.
